Throughout the summer of 2025, the South Island team will be canvassing at a series of events, continuing through the fall. We have set up data entry shifts to correspond with each canvass event and are looking for 3-10 people per event (depending on the size of the event) to take on the task of entering the pledges as they come in. You can sign up for as many shifts as you wish on this schedule:

• July 7-17 (Pride and Sidney Night Market)
• August 15-25 (Sidney Night Market)
• September 12-22 (Sidney Night Market)

More shifts may be added throughout the summer as we register for more events, so keep your eye on this page! After you have signed up for your first shift, you will need to email, text, or phone me if you want to sign up for additional shifts.

Each shift officially begins the day after the scheduled canvass event, and you have 10 days to complete data entry.

Pledge forms will be mailed to you, and they typically arrive 2-3 days after the start date of the shift, depending on Canada Post. Data entry should not require more than about 2 hours of your time for any one shift you sign up for. We ask that you only sign up for shifts when you will be able to complete the data entry within one week of receiving the pledge forms. When you are finished, simply return the pledge forms to us in the stamped pre-addressed envelope that we will provide.
